Why do we do what we do? Find out in this acclaimed program that probes the three areas of BCN (behavior, cognition, and neuroscience) through the study of biology related to the brain and the biological aspects of psychology. If you’re interested in both biology and psychology, this research-based program with a low faculty-to-student ratio is for you.
Sample Courses: Intro to Psychology as a Behavioural Science, Cell Biology, Biological Diversity, Human Physiology, Developmental Psychology
Career Tracks: Professional school (medicine, pharmacy, dentistry), clinical psychologist, audiologist, neurologist, neuroscientist, neuroscience researcher, and research psychologist
Course Requirements: ENG4U, MHF4U, SCH4U and SBI4U. MCV4U is strongly recommended. SPH4U is recommended. A minimum 70% average of all attempted science and math courses is also required, excluding MDM4U.
Minimum Average: 70%*
* Average over six Grade 12 academic courses.
Course Requirements: Grade 12 English, Grade 12 Advanced Functions, Grade 12 Chemistry and Grade 12 Biology. Grade 12 Calculus and Vectors is strongly recommended. Grade 12 Physics is recommended. A minimum 70% average of all attempted science and math courses is also required, excluding Grade 12 Mathematics of Data Management.

* Applicants educated outside of Canada must submit evidence of education equivalent to the Ontario Secondary
School Diploma (OSSD) with six Grade 12 academic courses. Grades will be converted to Ontario equivalent grades.
