Coronavirus Updates for Future Students
At UWindsor, engineering students learn in state-of-the-art classrooms and labs.
Our world-class researchers have exclusive relationships with industry, giving you research opportunities not available anywhere else. All our engineering programs begin with a general first year, giving you the flexibility to learn about each field and move on to focus your studies. When the time comes to launch your career, you’ll have the knowledge and connections to make it happen.
The Ed Lumley Centre for Engineering Innovation is a world-class facility and home to the Faculty of Engineering. With more than 80 teaching and research laboratories, some with features never seen before in North
America – we're exploring new areas of research. This “living building” brings engineering to life through real-time monitoring of the expansive green roof, cross-atrium bridges, and HVAC performance offering our students an
extraordinary facility to learn and see engineering in action.
The CEI empowers our students and researchers to define Canada’s future. Innovation and research & development in engineering starts with our students.
This half day experience includes being hosted by a current UWindsor undergraduate Engineering student, who will take you for a tour of the Engineering (CEI) building, followed by a meeting with Dr. Biswas (WINONE), and sitting in on an Engineering Design class. You may also choose to attend an optional full campus tour offered by the Office of Student Recruitment after your shadowing experience.
November Shadow Days are now full, we will be announcing new days for January – March shortly.
