  1. Deadline to apply for entrance scholarships and bursaries

    April 14, 2019

  2. Class registration starts

    May 14, 2019

    Start planning your classes now! You can learn more about registering for classes on the Plan Your Program page. If you have any questions, contact your program or reach out to us at ask.UWindsor.

  3. Confirm your acceptance through OUAC

    June 3, 2019

    Confirm your acceptance via Ontario Universities’ Application Centre (OUAC) by June 3 or by the response date listed on your offer of admission.

  4. Apply for residence

    June 3, 2019

    Accommodations are guaranteed for first-year students coming directly from high school and who apply and submit a deposit of $475 by the deadline date of June 3, 2019. Applications and deposits received after June 3, 2019, will be assigned based on a first-come-first-serve basis.

  5. Apply for OSAP

    June 10, 2019

    Submit applications for government loans and grants through Ontario Student Assistance Program.

  6. Applications open for in-course bursaries & ignite work study program

    August 1, 2019

    Applications open up for in-course bursaries and the Ignite Work Study Program (first-year students are eligible to apply!)

  7. Fall term fees due

    August 15, 2019

    Fall term fees are due and payable. Visit the Cashiers Office for more information.

  8. Welcome Week

    September 1 - 6, 2019

    UWindsor Welcome Week begins. Make new friends, meet your professors, staff and returning student leaders. Visit Orientation for more information.

  9. Move into residence

    September 1, 2019

  10. Day & evening classes begin

    September 5, 2019

  11. Last day for late registration & course change

    September 18, 2019

    Last day for late registration and change of courses for fall term day and evening.

  12. Last day to opt out of the UWSA Health Coverage

    September TBD, 2019

  13. Last day for reversal of fees for course withdrawal

    October TBD, 2019

  14. Reading week (no classes)

    October 12 - 20, 2019

  15. Thanksgiving Day

Registering your courses will take careful planning to ensure you get the class schedule that works best for you. The steps below will help you get started but if you’re having trouble at any point contact your program or reach out to us at ask.UWindsor.

Review your offer

Review your offer letter and make sure you’ve been admitted to the correct program. You’ll also want to take note of any conditions to your offer of admission and complete them by the date indicated in your letter.

Accept your offer

Follow the instructions in your University of Windsor Offer of Admission letter that explains how to confirm your acceptance. Make sure you’ve completed this by the date indicated on your Offer of Admission.

Setup UWindsor Email

Step 3

Extend your UWin Account & Setup UWindsor Email

Extend your UWin Account to gain access to your UWindsor email, the University’s online learning system, the Leddy and Law Libraries, the full suite of Microsoft products and other important campus resources. After you've extended your UWin Account the University of Windsor will send all email communications to your UWindsor email.

Plan your courses

You may register beginning May 14 for Fall 2019 as long as the university has received your confirmation of our offer of admission. You will need your UWin ID and password to access our student information platform, UWinsite Student, where you will be able to register for your courses.

We offer seven Head Start dates. There are Faculty Specific and General date options, as well as a program designed for Mature, Part-Time and Transfer students.
