The Faculty of Science’s research and innovation facility, the Essex Centre of Research - also known as CORe - is dedicated to research, innovation, and industry collaboration.
It boasts three floors of open-concept lab space and meeting rooms devoted to research in advanced materials including nano-technology and biometrics, translational health with an emphasis on cancer research, and medical physics including imaging and diagnostic technologies. It's a place where faculty and students come together.
This half-day experience includes being hosted by a current UWindsor Science undergraduate student, who will take you for a short campus tour, lunch (sponsored by the Dean of Science) in the CAW Student Centre, and to sit in on a science undergraduate class. You may also choose to attend an optional full campus tour offered by the Office of Student Recruitment after your shadowing experience.
